With the help of handsome local flower expert Matt, Lara sets out to recreate a long lost “love potion” tea. One problem – the tea’s secret ingredient is the extinct Kissing Falls rose. Review:
☀ "Together Forever Tea - This movie is sweet, but a little slow moving, at times. I liked the present story with the leads gradually falling in love and working together on a special tea, but I thought the love story that was never fulfilled from the past was rather sad. Overall, the movie is a nice rom-com and family friendly." ~Net
☀ "The title of the movie is so weird that I wondered what we were letting ourselves in for but this is another from a company relatively new to us which has come through with a lovely and charming family friendly movie. The pairing of Kim Crossman and Jay Ryan - neither of whom I had heard of before - was just perfect and although the plot moved at a gentle pace they lit up the screen to such an extent that you were totally captivated by them. I thought they were both excellent in their roles. Some aspects of the plot were staple fare but trying to recreate a special tea brew made it that bit different. The one downside was the sub-plot of the aunt having had a disastrous love affair in her youth which was responsible for them having to produce the new blend to try and win an award which had been denied her. Although this was a necessary element in the overall context of the plot I felt it was a bit twee and overblown in the second half of the movie and it slightly dampened my enthusiasm. Kim's pushy work partner added a bit of spice to the proceedings. But the ending was just lovely and I was left with that feel good factor. If anyone at Hallmark's casting Department happens to be reading this go out and grab Jay Ryan quickly - he's 30 years old and would make a perfect Hallmark hero!" - Florence
