Storyline: As the copy editor at established publishing house, Romantic Reads, Eve loves her job –even though she does not actually believe in true love or the theory of romance. When her bestselling novelists - a couple named Arthur and Ruth - decide to take an extended holiday to celebrate Valentine’s Day, she agrees to housesit and looks forward to a fresh, new setting where she can focus on editing their latest book. However, Arthur and Ruth’s nephew and self-help coach Jake has also been promised their home to host daily romantically themed workshops. Eve reluctantly agrees to the shared space and decides to partner with Jake for each workshop with the hope of finding inspiration while she works on the novel. At first it is very apparent that she and Jake are complete opposites, but they soon find themselves becoming closer and ultimately, a very unexpected couple – one potentially worthy of a romance novel.

Review:

"I streamed this Valentine's Day themed movie from BYU's web-site when it was first offered back in the Spring. It is not currently available to watch on the BYU web-site, but it should be available to stream again after it premieres on TV. I recall it being a fairly interesting, family friendly rom-com. One thing did bother me, though... Eve briefly mentions a favorite book by author Stephen W. Hawking titled A Brief History of Time: From the Big Bang to Black Holes. This raised my eyebrows because Hawking is a well known theoretical physicist and avowed atheist and this particular book disputes Biblical creation. I thought the mention of this book was very disturbing. Other than that, it was a relatively sweet movie about finding love; I just wish they had left that book out of the story, but I feel someone wanted to get a certain point across." ~Net

*If you miss this showing on BYUtv, you should also be able to watch via VOD on BYU's web-site after it premieres.
